Roy Keane and Gary Neville are in agreement over Liverpool in Sunday's Carabao Cup final against Newcastle United
Roy Keane and Gary Neville have agreed in their prediction for Liverpool's Carabao Cup final against Newcastle United on Sunday (4:30pm kick-off).
The Reds are looking to retain the League Cup trophy they won last season as they face a club who have not won a major domestic trophy since 1955.
And former Manchester United stars Keane and Neville are in agreement that the Reds will triumph against Eddie Howe's team this weekend.
"Here we go — I think Liverpool will win 2-1 or 2-0… 2-0 Liverpool," Neville said on the Stick To Football podcast.
Newcastle never play well at Wembley," Neville insisted.
"When you watch Newcastle at Wembley, you see all them fans that have travelled like six, seven hours, you think go on and give them something, surprise them."
And Roy Keane added: "3-1, yeah." He also felt that it would be in favour of Liverpool, who was knocked out of the Champions League by Paris Saint Germain on Tuesday.
Earlier in the show, Neville said: "I can't see Mo Salah and Virgil van Dijk not being winners on Sunday.
You know when you look at two players and you just think, who's going to take that off them?"
