Former Arsenal striker Ian Wright believes there's a chance Trent Alexander-Arnold could remain at Liverpool beyond the summer - a claim Roy Keane strongly disagrees with.
The England international has been heavily linked with a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Since January, the full-back has been allowed to speak to overseas clubs regarding a pre-contract agreement, with his Liverpool contract set to expire at the end of June.
However, the Reds remain hopeful they can tie the 26-year-old to a new deal at Anfield.
Club chiefs have secured two-year contract extensions for both Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk, who were also at risk of leaving Liverpool as free agents.
Alexander-Arnold returned to action from injury last weekend and scored the winning goal at Leicester City.

He took his shirt off before knee-sliding and celebrating passionately in front of the away end, sparking fresh speculation about his future.
Wright isn't convinced that a move to Real Madrid will necessarily be the outcome.
"We still don’t know if he’s actually leaving," the former striker said on The Overlap.
"You don’t know what that could mean; we’ll find out what that really means once the season’s ended.
Meanwhile, Keane responded: "I’ll have a bet with you: He’s leaving."
"You think he’s leaving?
I think he’s going to stay," Wright added.
Following Alexander-Arnold's contribution against Leicester, the Reds' head coach Arne Slot was quizzed about the full-back's future and some of the criticism he has faced.
"The headline should be today about the goal he scored and not about his contract," Slot argued.
“But what I can say is it would be ridiculous if someone argues his commitment for this club because the work-rate he put in to be back today and make such an important goal, and all the work he has done for this club in all these years he is here, no-one – in my opinion – can argue his commitment to this club.
