Ruben Amorim has insisted that Manchester United's "ultimate goal" is to win the Premier League, but he has admitted they cannot afford to "think too far ahead".
Liverpool have drawn level with United for title wins after clinching their 20th on Sunday.
However, United currently sit 14th in the league and look set to suffer their worst domestic campaign in more than 50 years.

"Again, I'm not crazy, I know it's not going to be next year, but we are trying to build something and the small things are really important and we did that during this year.

"We need to improve next year.
It's really important for the fans, we know that, but we need to be honest with them and to work hard every day."

Reflecting on the draw with Bournemouth, Amorim felt United deserved to pick up all three points.
But I think if you look at the game, I think we lost two points.
United currently sit 14th in the Premier League

And Amorim believes there are some similarities between Bournemouth and Bilbao.

"These teams are quite similar in the high pressure, the way they press, so it was a good game to prepare for one of the most important games in our season [against Athletic Bilbao]," he explained.
