The agent of Ryan Gravenberch, Jose Fortes Rodriguez, has now responded to the backlash surrounding his comments on his client and Real Madrid.

Speaking to Marca, he said this week:

“He’s good enough for Real Madrid.

We would love for him to play for them, but Liverpool would ask for a lot of money.”

“I know they’ve had their eye on him, but now it’s impossible.”

Understandably, it did not go down all too well with Liverpool fans, and one took to Instagram to share his displeasure at the statement.

The agent responded, and wrote:

“I’m Spanish, it’s my dream club, not the dream club of Ryan.

He is really really happy, and if you ask Ryan, he will agree with you?

No stress, keep calm.”
