Ryan Gravenberch couldn't help but take a playful jab at Pep Guardiola following Liverpool's convincing victory over Manchester City on Sunday at the Etihad.

With goals from Mohamed Salah and Dominik Szoboszlai propelling the Reds to an 11-point lead over Arsenal at the Premier League summit, Dutch midfielder Gravenberch seized the opportunity to tease the Spanish manager.

His light-hearted banter came in response to Szoboszlai's Instagram post celebrating their triumph.



The Hungarian found himself in an unconventional No10 role alongside Curtis Jones, a position from which City struggled to contain him and the rest of the league-leading Liverpool side.

Szoboszlai expressed his satisfaction with the tactical approach and the outcome against Manchester City, as he explained to Sky Sports: "That was the plan, we played with two 10s.

We knew that was going to happen and it's part of the game.

But as I said, happy to take the three points."
