Liverpool were linked to Cunha before the forward made the move to Wolves from Atletico Madrid in 2023.
The 25-year-old has been in great form this season for the Midlands club despite playing in a struggling team.
The Brazilian star has featured in 25 games, producing 12 goals and four assists.
This is a sentiment that Cunha’s Wolves manager Vitor Pereira shares with the Portuguese coach previously stating on Match of the Day via the BBC: “He knows in the future he can play for the best teams in England, but he’s committed with us.”
The Brazilian signed a new deal with Wolves at the start of the month, which keeps him at Molineux until 2029, therefore, a move for the 25-year-old will be expensive this summer, depending if there is a release clause in the forward’s new contract.
Liverpool should be considering a move for Cunha ahead of next season but that Wolves star is someone Jamie Carragher has doubts about.
Cunha was the subject of a lot of speculation during the January transfer window with the Wolves star being linked to clubs such as Arsenal and Chelsea.
The reported asking price for the 25-year-old was said to be £65m and that is a figure Carragher would not pay for the Brazilian star.
