Stefanos Tzimas will not be leaving 1.
FC Nurnberg in January despite reported interest from Liverpool, according to the club’s sporting director.
The striker is currently on loan with the German outfit from PAOK.
The 19-year-old has scored eight goals from 14 appearances in the 2.
Bundesliga this season, with Nurnberg - who are managed by legendary German striker Miroslav Klose - intending to activate his €18m buy option.
Liverpool are reportedly interested in the Greek, with Sky Germany reporting that the Reds had started talks with Nurnberg - who would look to sell for €25m after signing him themselves - regarding a possible summer transfer and have now been informed of the player’s situation.

BILD also report that Liverpool have held preliminary talks with Nurnberg and the player’s agent, while Aston Villa, Chelsea and Brighton & Hove Albion are also said to be chasing the 19-year-old.
Nurnberg sporting director Olaf Rebbe has ruled out any possibility of Tzimas leaving the club in January.
However, he has hinted at the German outfit’s plans for the teenager and a possible summer transfer.
"We will not be letting go of any key players in the winter,” he told BILD when asked if Tzimas could leave the club in January.
“But with a view to the summer, we are of course already examining a number of options."
A Greece Under-21s international, Tzimas made his debut for PAOK in January 2023 before becoming the youngest scorer in the club’s history the following March - aged just 17 years and 57 days.

He scored five goals in 30 appearances for the club, winning the Greek Super League last season before moving to Nurnberg on loan last June.
In October 2023, he was named as one of the Guardian’s 60 best young talents in world football in their Next Generation series.
