Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard has taken to social media to share the incredible scenes at Anfield ahead of their Premier League title showdown against Tottenham Hotspur.
The Reds need a point to secure the top-flight crown ahead of Arsenal - who failed to defeat Crystal Palace in midweek - which handed Arne Slot's side the opportunity to claim success in front of their adoring fans.
Supporters lined the streets in the build-up to the visit from Spurs at Anfield with a plume of red smoke greeting the Liverpool players as they arrived on their coach.
The fans were starved of the top-flight success five years ago after their celebrations were forced to take place behind closed doors after the magnificent season under Jurgen Klopp - due to Covid-19 restrictions.
Premier League glory agonisingly escaped Gerrard during his playing career.
However, since hanging up his boots, he has managed to see the Reds win the league and Champions League during the German's tenure at Anfield.

Taking to social media, Gerrard posted a wordless message on his story.
He also shared the jaw-dropping footage from Anfield with the bus passing through thick red smoke on its approach to the stadium.

The bus welcomes have become synonymous with Liverpool in recent years with some of their most memorable ones coming during a pursuit for Premier League success under Brendan Rodgers or prior to the historic European nights under Klopp.
However, there was an early setback for Liverpool, as Dominic Solanke netted an opener for Tottenham inside 13 minutes.
Luis Diaz promptly levelled, though.
