Former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard has sent a message of support ahead of the Carabao Cup final against Newcastle United at Wembley.
Head coach Arne Slot could become the first manager since Rafael Benitez to win silverware in their debut campaign.
The Reds are looking to successfully defend their League Cup crown after Virgil van Dijk's header secured an unlikely win for Liverpool over Chelsea, 12 months ago.
Slot's side were knocked out of the Champions League earlier this week after suffering a penalty shootout defeat to Paris Saint-Germain.
Liverpool already have a comfortable cushion at the top of the Premier League, which could be reduced to 12 points if Arsenal overcome Chelsea on Sunday.

Among those who have issued support for the Reds was Gerrard, who lifted the trophy three times in 2001, 2003 and 2012.
"And we're really looking forward to it, to playing a final again, because you cannot take a final for granted, especially not in this country with so many good teams involved in every cup competition.

"So we're looking forward that we are part of it, and if you are part of it, of course you want and try to win it.
But that's probably what Newcastle wants as well."
The Reds ran out 2-0 winners over Newcastle at Anfield in their second Premier League meeting of the season at the end of February.
