Liverpool were way below their best on Sunday but still managed to squeeze a 2-1 win over Wolves.
The Reds have a big 10 days coming up as they face a crucial test of their title credentials.
A fixture against relegation-threatened Wolves should have been a relatively comfortable way to kick that run off, but Liverpool made hard work of it at Anfield.
In the end, Liverpool were thankful to some of their fringe players for stepping in and helping them over the line.
Arne Slot praised Jarell Quansah after the game and the centre-back should get a confidence boost from his sturdy second-half performance.
But another substitute, Wataru Endo, also deserved the spotlight after a typically battling cameo.
And after seeing Liverpool to another big three points, Endo reaffirmed his commitment to the cause.

Endo has done amazingly well to fight his way back into the Liverpool squad under Slot.
Had he given in when things were going against him, the 32-year-old could easily have found himself sold over the summer.

Instead, Endo dug deep and showed Slot why he is a very worthwhile member of the squad.
Nevertheless, there is still a chance the Japanese is not at Liverpool next season.
Rumours have resurfaced again this week that interest will arrive to take Endo away from Anfield.
But speaking to LFCTV after Sunday’s game, the No.3 hinted that he’s going nowhere.

“I don’t mind which position I play because I used to play as a defender as well,” Endo said when asked how he is managing with reduced minutes.
“I always say the thing I can do is show myself every time I have a chance and keep working hard.
I’m so happy to be a part of this club and I still feel like I can do something for this club.”
As well as dropping a hint about his future, Endo also gave an insight into what his role was for the final 20 minutes against Wolves.
Asked to relay what instructions Slot had given him when bringing him on, Endo suggested the Liverpool head coach had urged him to get a handle on Matheus Cunha.
“After I came in the thing I have to do is not concede and keep it 2-1,” he said.
“So, I think I did my job.
And after another performance that will feed into his cult hero persona, Liverpool fans will be hoping Endo is here for the foreseeable.
