Speaking to the press on Tuesday, the Liverpool boss stated that he is still not over what happened on that day at Goodison Park, as the Dutch coach admitted he will be ‘surprised’ if he ever sees so many decisions go against his team again.
“I hope I will act differently next time, but I can’t promise that,” Slot said.
Everton have been a much stronger outfit since David Moyes took over back in January and Slot has also been speaking about the Scottish coach’s impact.
Everton struggled during the first half of the 2024/25 campaign as the Toffees found themselves fighting relegation once again under Sean Dyche, however, things have changed since the return of Moyes back in January.
The Blues are unbeaten in their last nine Premier League games and currently sit 15th, 17 points clear of the relegation zone.
Although Everton do not have much to play for throughout the rest of the season, Slot admitted to the press that he is aware of the threat the Toffees possess after experiencing the fight against them two months ago.
“David Moyes hasn’t lost in the last nine league games, so it would be a surprise if they did something different,” the Liverpool boss said.
