With Liverpool on the brink of Premier League triumph under new boss Arne Slot, Dominik Szoboszlai has his eyes set on bigger stages – and bigger trophies.
Though the Reds are preparing to potentially clinch the title this week.
But Szoboszlai is not satisfied with revealing his hunger for the Champions League and the World Cup.
Quoted by Sky Sports and Liverpool Echo, Szoboszlai stated:
“Now?
Win the Premier League and go to the World Cup.
Featuring in 31 of 33 league games this season, he has cemented his place in the squad.

Under Arne Slot, Szoboszlai has been tasked with a more advanced, free-roaming role – one that demands both flair and ferocious work rate.
“(My role) is a little bit different to last season when I was more of a No.8, this season more of an attacking part, in that case a free role but I also have to cover a lot for my right side.
I am also doing that for Mo, for the team, everyone.
And sometimes I feel like if I didn’t do that I would have more energy for attacking but as long as the team is happy then I think every individual is happy.
It’s a different role.
So let’s say it is 60 attacking parts, 40 defensive parts.”
Reflecting on his journey, he added:
“The league is different, the team I am playing in is different, the people are different and I loved every second of my time at Leipzig… I came here to win.”
And with the spotlight bright, Szoboszlai embraces it.
“If you come to one of the best clubs in the world, of course you are going to be in the spotlight all of the time, but that is part of our job and we have to handle it.”
