Liverpool were the talk of Europe on Wednesday night after somehow beating PSG at the Parc des Princes.
The Reds were comfortably second best for much of the game in Paris, but still managed to sneak away with a 1-0 win.
Harvey Elliott was the matchwinner after scoring with his very first touch to give Liverpool a first-leg lead in the Champions League.
But while Elliott deserved praise for his finish, the real hero of the night was goalkeeper Alisson Becker.
Alisson made nine terrific saves to keep PSG at bay.
Legendary former Man United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel called Alisson’s performance one of the best he’d ever seen from keeper.
Another to have been impressed with the Brazilian was tennis legend Boris Becker.
After watching his ‘namesake’ deliver a top performance, Boris made a point about the ‘responsibilities’ of the Becker name.

Alisson’s performance against PSG will live long in the memory for Liverpool supporters.
The Brazilian has been terrific for much of his near seven years at Anfield so far, but Wednesday’s heroic display was on another level.

Brest manager Eric Roy suggested having Alisson in goal was like Jesus being between the sticks at the Parc des Princes.
And, taking to X just after the game, three-time Wimbledon champion Becker also hailed the goalie for upholding the traditions of his surname.

“I hear my namesake Alisson Becker was outstanding tonight in Paris!,” wrote the German.
“After all, sharing the same family name brings responsibilities….
“Absolutely love LFC,” Becker added.
“YNWA.”
Boris is not the only notable person to share the Becker name.
American actress Alison Becker can even go one better than the former tennis champion, with both forename and surname being the same.
But, unfortunately, none of Boris, Alisson or indeed Alison are related.
The name is of German heritage, with the Brazilian city Alisson hails from – Novo Hamburgo – having a history of immigration from Germany.
Despite this link, though, and the ironic fact Boris is a big supporter of Liverpool, there is seemingly no family history between the sporting pair.
Nonetheless, Ali is certainly doing the former world number one proud and keeping a tradition which dates back to the 1980’s alive.
