Conor Bradley admits Liverpool should expect some nervy afternoons during the Premier League title run-in as he hailed Alisson Becker as the best goalkeeper in the world.

The Reds moved to within six points of a record-equalling 20th championship when Virgil van Dijk's 89th-minute winner earned a dramatic 2-1 victory at home to West Ham United on Sunday.

Arne Slot's side had dominated the first half and led through Luis Diaz's early strike, but were pressed back after the break with West Ham eventually notching a deserved equaliser four minutes from time when Andy Robertson put the ball into his own net.

And Bradley believes Liverpool's tense second-half showing was part and parcel of a team involved in a championship battle.

"It's getting closer, we are just another two wins away," said Bradley.

We just have to keep our heads down and keep going.

"It was a difficult second half.

I thought the first half was really good, we created loads of chances and played really good football, but the second half we sat off a bit and allowed them to control the game.

That can happen when you're in a title race.

"You can't control the game for 90 minutes every football match.

If I get beat one-v-one it's so good to know he is behind me so he can pull me out of jail."

Liverpool are now 13 points clear of second-placed Arsenal and have still lost only twice in the top flight this season.

And of Sunday's game, Bradley added to LFC TV: "I was gutted when they scored their equaliser but I looked at the clock and saw there were a good few minutes left, so I thought there was still time.
