Liverpool have been handed a clear Mohamed Salah contract verdict by a former employee.
Despite his excellent form this season, Salah could still depart Anfield this summer as a free agent with no extension terms agreed as of yet.
In this past weekend's dominant victory away at Manchester City, Salah grabbed his 30th goal of the season in all competitions with assist number 21 following soon after.
On wanting to stay and break more records, Salah added: "If I stay in this country, I'll think about it.

"But for the moment, I'm just thinking about winning the Premier League, then we'll see at the end of the season." The 32-year-old helping Liverpool secure another title now looks very likely with 11 points between them and Arsenal following their surprise defeat at home to West Ham.
While Salah is clearly focused on matters he can control, the club will surely be working tirelessly on tying him down to a new contract regardless of his age.
Former Liverpool director of research Ian Graham is one person who has experience when it comes to working on an extension for Salah.
The Swansea native departed a few years ago after a decade working in the club's data analysis team with a particular focus on finding value in the transfer market and seemingly also playing a role in deciding if players should be offered new deals.
"I helped with the work for the last contract extension which sees him [Salah] through to this summer," he admitted, as quoted by Ben Jacobs, at the Financial Times' Business of Football summit.
"And at the time, I went into that thinking, with players of this age, I'm going to recommend not extending his contract.
But the strength of data forces you to take an objective viewpoint and sometimes you can surprise yourself.

It's a question of physical fitness rather than their skills falling away.
"In summer 2022, I was surprised [the data showed] we should consider giving Salah a new contract.
