Liverpool have had a rough week after losing against PSG in the Champions League last-16.
The Reds appeared to have a chance of going all the way in Europe this season after topping the inaugural Champions League table.
However, while other, lower placed teams were given kinder draws, Liverpool came up against the form team on the whole continent.
But despite PSG winning game after game, Liverpool still bloodied their nose in Paris and brought a 1-0 win back to Anfield.
From there, the Reds had hoped – and perhaps expected – to see off the threat of the Ligue 1 champions.
And asked for his thoughts ahead of this weekend’s Premier League fixtures, Man City boss Pep Guardiola has now had his say.

Asked on whether he regretted his own team not being part of the Champions League any longer this season, Guardiola took the chance to review Liverpool’s tie during his pre-match press conference on Friday.
“Look at Liverpool, they made all the points, they were happy because they won a lot of money with the group stage,” the Spaniard began.

“The draw put them against PSG, we suffered in Paris, we saw [how good they are].
The best player in Paris was Alisson and the best player at Anfield was Donnarumma.
How do you judge those details?
“In penalties you can win or not, and now all the disappointment is with Liverpool.
PSG made an incredible game in Paris.”
It has been clear for a while that Man City would not be winning either the Premier League or Champions League this season.
Guardiola’s team have been the ultimate rival for Liverpool over the years, though, and Reds supporters could have been forgiven for keeping one eye warily on City in the league, despite their struggles.
After the Citizens lost against Nottingham Forest last week, however, they are now 23 points behind Liverpool with just 10 games left to play.
That means their maximum points total this season is a remarkably low 77 points.
