Saturday’s 2-0 win against AFC Bournemouth was yet another statement performance for Arne Slot’s side with Mohamed Salah winning praise from Troy Deeney for his display as the Egyptian international bagged a brace.
Although Arsenal claimed a big win against Manchester City, the Premier League title is still firmly in Liverpool’s hands, who this month will face Everton in their game in hand in the final Merseyside derby at Goodison Park.

Speaking on The Kelly and Wrighty Show, the pundit noted that it would take ‘some calamitous mistake’ for Liverpool to lose the Premier League title at this stage, with Wright confident that the Reds can go all the way this season.
Wright said: “They just seem so in control, this is why people are saying they look so comfortable, they look like they’re in go-mode, I can’t see who is going to make them stumble, it’s going to have to be some calamitous mistake or something from Liverpool, I just can’t see it.

Liverpool’s upcoming Premier League fixture list is one of the hardest compared to the likes of Arsenal and Forest, with the Reds facing City, Newcastle United and Aston Villa, with a rejuvenated Wolves and Everton also on the agenda.
Yet if Liverpool can come away from this upcoming run with five or even all six wins, there will be no doubt that the Reds are destined to win the Premier League title this season, with Slot’s squad already on course for such an achievement.
Keeping everyone fit and healthy will be key to Liverpool’s success, and if the Reds can come away from their upcoming games with the wins needed to build their lead, the title could be within their grasp come mid-March.
