Liverpool suffered their first Premier League loss of the year after being beaten convincingly by Fulham.
The Cottagers put on a show in west London as Liverpool were outplayed by Marco Silva’s side, with Fulham securing their first win at home against the Reds since 2011 thanks to goals from Ryan Sessegnon, Alex Iwobi and Rodrigo Muniz.

And Paul Scholes was impressed by one moment from Alexis Mac Allister during Liverpool’s loss against Fulham.

Speaking on Premier League Productions, the Manchester United legend admitted that he would have been happy to score a goal like Mac Allister’s this afternoon against Fulham, with the midfielder firing Liverpool ahead with a great strike from distance.
With Liverpool fans impressed with Mac Allister’s performance against Fulham, the Argentine international as the only player who could leave Craven Cottage with their head held high after impressing from midfield for the Reds.
And Scholes was more than impressed with Mac Allister’s goal against Fulham, with the pundit praising the Liverpool midfielder for his effort even with the Premier League leaders going on to lose the match at Craven Cottage.

Scholes said: “I would’ve been happy with this.
Great strike, and gives the goalkeeper no chance.”
It’s been seven months since Liverpool last tasted defeat in the Premier League after the Reds were surprisingly beaten by Nottingham Forest at Anfield, who have since gone on to become the surprise package in the Premier League.
Yet although another loss was due for Slot’s side, few Liverpool fans would have predicted today’s result at Fulham to be as bad as it was, with the Merseyside giants making history for all the wrong reasons in the opening half
Indeed, Liverpool are still on course to comfortably win the Premier League title with seven games to go, yet today’s result will have to serve as a wake-up call for the Anfield side, who will want to wrap up the championship as quickly as possible.
