The Reds are back in action on 2 April as Arne Slot’s men continue their push for the Premier League against city rivals Everton as the Dutch coach looks to put things right after a disappointing week before the international break.
Liverpool were knocked out of the Champions League at the hands of PSG before losing the Carabao Cup final to Newcastle at Wembley.
There will be concerns amongst fans if the Merseyside club drop points to Everton, but several Liverpool players will have been injected with confidence after some of their performances during the international break.
Here are three players who RTK believe benefited the most from some top displays for their countries.

Luis Diaz was one Liverpool player who needed a good international break.
The Colombian has been a key part of Slot’s squad this season featuring 42 times for the Reds, producing 13 goals and five assists.
However, Liverpool fans expect more from the 28-year-old as the winger has scored just two goals in his last 12 Premier League matches.
Colombia were in action against Brazil and Paraguay during the latest international break and Diaz may have saved his Liverpool career with his performances.

Although Colombia didn’t win any of their two games, Diaz played a total of 180 minutes for his country, producing two goals and one assist across the contests, which should give the 28-year-old a much-needed boost.

Unlike Colombia, Argentina won both of their matches against Uruguay and Brazil and have cemented themselves as the best international team on the planet.

Before the international break, Cody Gakpo was still recovering from his latest injury at Liverpool with Slot seemingly reluctant to start the Dutch forward from the beginning against both PSG and Newcastle.
Being away with the Netherlands was a positive experience for the 25-year-old as Gakpo got 168 minutes of action into his legs after starting both games against Spain.
Gakpo would also score a goal during the two games against Spain and Liverpool fans will now hope the Dutch star returns to Merseyside in the form he displayed before his injury issue.
