At least three Premier League clubs are interested in signing Liverpool defender Kostas Tsimikas.
The 2024/25 season has been a roller coaster for the Greek defender.
However, just 15 of those were starts and many of these starts came in the first half of the season.
Slot used Tsimikas a lot during the first half of the season, while Andy Robertson found his fitness and form.
However, since Tsimikas suffered an injury late last year, he has featured less prominently for Slot.
The belief is that Tsimikas will leave this summer, with Liverpool expected to sign a new left-back.
Milos Kerkez is the main name being linked with a move to Anfield.
While he may be below Robertson in the pecking order at Liverpool, Tsimikas is in no shortage of options and admirers in the Premier League.
This is according to Greek journalist Giannis Chorianopoulos, who revealed that at least three clubs are interested in signing Tsimkas.
However, the journalist did reveal that it is not guaranteed that the 28-year-old will leave the club this summer.
Meanwhile, Tsimikas revealed that he is relishing the ‘healthy competition’ with Robertson for a place at left back.
“I really enjoy [it], I really want to play,” Tsimikas said.
“I just train really hard, I think all the people know that from the team?
I’m really enjoying playing.”
“For me and Robbo, it’s very healthy competition always, we help each other and always try to push each other to the limits.”
“At the moment I really enjoy playing with these teammates in this team and giving absolutely everything, as I do all the time.”
