Liverpool need to pick up just one point against Tottenham on Sunday to officially be crowned Premier League champions, with Arne Slot having enjoyed an excellent first season in charge of the Reds.
Tottenham, meanwhile, are currently sat 16th in the league and Ange Postecoglou's primary focus is now the Europa League with Spurs set to host Bodo/Glimt in the first leg of their semi-final clash on Thursday.
Tottenham will qualify for next season's Champions League if they can win the Europa League and Postecoglou rested several key players for Spurs' 2-1 defeat to Nottingham Forest on Monday as a result.
Postecoglou may well decide to do the same thing when Tottenham travel to Anfield this Sunday, although his squad is not struggling with too many injury problems.
Postecoglou is hopeful Son could return to action against Bodo/Glimt.
