Liverpool FC has announced the ticket details for its ninth Legends charity match, set to feature a compelling clash between Liverpool Legends and Chelsea Legends at Anfield on Saturday, March 22, 2025, with kick-off scheduled for 3 pm GMT.
The match marks 20 years since Liverpool’s memorable 2004-05 season, which included the historic Champions League semi-final victory over Chelsea at Anfield.
This charitable initiative has proven highly successful, with the previous eight Legends matches raising over £7.5 million and supporting 127,000 people through various LFC Foundation programs.
These matches have helped the Foundation support over 127,000 people last season alone, with previous events generating significant community impact through health benefits and local economic contributions.
The most recent Legends match saw Liverpool face Ajax at Anfield in March 2024, drawing over 54,000 spectators.
The likes of Steven Gerrard, Fernando Torres, Martin Skrtel – who recently took on a new role in football – Dirk Kuyt, Jerzy Dudek, and Ryan Babel were amongst some of the former Reds stars who beat Ajax 4-2 on the day.
