Spurs took a surprise lead at Anfield before the hosts stormed towards their Premier League coronation with a three-goal blitz before half-time.

Dominik Solanke momentarily stunned the champions-elect with a perfect header from James Maddison's corner in the 12th minute.

Alexis Mac Allister produced a sensational long-range strike to fire Liverpool into the lead shortly after that.
