Mikel Arteta has explained the current status at Arsenal as they look to sign a new forward in the January transfer window to provide more options with Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus out.

They value him at £60million and aren't desperate to sell this month.

Stuttgart midfielder Angelo Stiller is one of the names on Liverpool's radar as they look for a defensive midfielder this summer, according to TEAMtalk.

The 23-year-old midfielder is currently only under contract with Stuttgart until June 2027 and his club are keen to extend it.

He is expected to sign a long-term deal to become Kylian Mbappe's replacement that will see his salary multiply from £1.5m per season to £7.6m.
