Liverpool suffered a potentially major injury blow during their Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday night.
Trent Alexander-Arnold was replaced late in the game by Jarell Quansah after suffering an apparent ankle problem.
The right-back tried to win the ball from an opponent and mistimed his lunge, with his leg getting caught in an awkward position under his body.
The Liverpool defender was clearly in distress immediately and after managing to get himself back onto the pitch, quickly fell to the ground again.

Head coach Arne Slot was forced to call on Quansah as Liverpool already have two of their regular right-back options out injured.
Conor Bradley, who is now the main back-up to Alexander-Arnold, is sidelined with a muscle injury and was not included in the most recent Northern Ireland squad.
Meanwhile Joe Gomez has had surgery and could miss the rest of the season.

Alexander-Arnold, who is yet to sign a contract extension with Liverpool beyond this season, has had a number of injury issues this term and will now be a big doubt for the Carabao Cup final against Newcastle United on Sunday.
Liverpool were 1-0 down at the time of the injury after Ousmane Dembele's first-half goal, meaning the tie was 1-1 on aggregate.
