Liverpool number 66 Trent Alexander-Arnold has won it all at Anfield, and he will soon add a second Premier League title to his long list of honors and achievements.
Though Alexander-Arnold might not be a Liverpool player for much longer, it is impossible to argue against this being an iconic moment.
No goal has been celebrated quite like this all season — not even the late Darwin Nunez goals against Brentford or the Virgil van Dijk header that put the Reds back in front against West Ham a week ago.
"Special moments," Alexander-Arnold posted on X/Twitter, alongside three pictures of him celebrating his goal.
It was a simple caption, but one that perfectly summed up the situation.
"Like I’ve said all season, I’m not going to speak on my situation, I’m not going to go into details," Alexander-Arnold had told Sky Sports a few moments after the final whistle had blown, leaving Liverpool three points from being confirmed as Premier League champion.
They are special moments that will live with me forever, and I’m glad to be a part of them."
As it stands, there will only be five games left for Alexander-Arnold to play in for Liverpool unless he signs a new deal.
Players leaving Liverpool in previous years have been given a send-off on the final day of the campaign and it is hard to envisage that the outcome in the saga won't be known by then.
Alexander-Arnold's celebration showed his passion for Liverpool and his determination to get over the line in the Premier League title race
