Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold has been sent another clear contract message following his cryptic goal celebration during the club's 5-0 win against West Ham on Sunday evening.
The Reds extended their lead at the top of the Premier League table - but the futures of Alexander-Arnold, Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk remain at the forefront of everyone's minds.
All three are free to negotiate and sign pre-contract agreements with clubs outside of England in just a matter of days which is a concern given Alexander-Arnold, in particular, has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid.
Some notable Spanish outlets ran with the story over the weekend that a transfer as a free agent is all but agreed with just the formalities to take place in the New Year.
Although a common tactic used by the La Liga giants to unsettle their targets, the Reds fans were understandably left concerned by such a strong news line coming from Madrid.
After scoring Liverpool's fourth goal of the evening against West Ham on Sunday, Alexander-Arnold went on to celebrate with a talking gesture.

What he was referring to specifically is unknown, but it has done little to dampen the concern that he could leave for Real Madrid on a free transfer at the end of the season.
"[Liverpool manager, Arne] Slot came out afterwards and said the way he celebrated his goal should probably tell you enough."
Ladyman went on: "What I think about that is, at the end of the day, if he thinks it is just chat and he isn't going to Madrid, there's an easy way to deal with that.
We don't need those gestures and the ambiguous quotes from the manager, just tell us.
"If you're staying, then just tell us.
