Trent Alexander-Arnold could be lured away from Liverpool to Real Madrid with a lucrative wage packet(Image: Alex Pantling/Getty Images)
Liverpool stand to lose Trent Alexander-Arnold this summer and on Tuesday have suffered a barrage of reports.
These have mainly claimed that the vice captain is close to finalising a pre-contract agreement with Spanish giants Real Madrid, with some even suggesting that may already be the case.
Throughout the campaign the Reds have had to deal with extreme focus on their important, out of contract stars.
For all the good that they do on the field of play, Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Alexander-Arnold are all yet to be tied down to new contracts.
In the final six months of their current deals, they have been afforded the opportunity to speak to foreign suitors and now the latest rumours would suggest they are to pay the price with their local hero supposedly set on Spain.
The 26-year-old said from the beginning all that takes place this season regarding his future would play out in private yet silence has perhaps spoken even louder.

The only word he has outright expressed has been that of his goals, for which the primary ones were to win the Premier League this campaign, one day captain his boyhood club and in the future also win the Ballon d'Or award.
Alexander-Arnold nor any other will say it, but lucrative wages also come into a footballer's thinking when put in the position of choosing to stick or twist with their club.
Real Madrid, being the powerhouses that they are, stand top of the Deloitte Football Money League 2025 as the only club with over €1bn (£835m) in revenue last season.
The £78m five-year deal was something that the Reds were said to be willing to commit to themselves in order to retain his services.
So by contrast, with the latest twist in the Alexander-Arnold saga, the first hints of what the Spaniards would pay him have been made in certain reports and they fall astonishingly short of that previous suggestion.

First, talkSPORT's article claiming that a full agreement has been reached between player and club also states that he would earn 'in excess of £220k per week' playing in La Liga over the next five seasons.
Alternatively, The Independent have said that the Reds' No.66 would earn a lesser £200k per week but then also give mention to a 'major' signing-on bonus he would earn for moving to the Santiago Bernabeu.
