According to former England keeper Paul Robinson, Trent Alexander-Arnold's transfer from Liverpool to Real Madrid is a done deal and said there is no chance of a U-turn.

The ex-Spurs 'keeper suggested that the Liverpool bigwigs are in the loop about the near-finalized arrangement for the Reds' right-back to join Madrid on a free transfer this summer.

Despite this display of loyalty, speaking to Football Insider's Inside Track podcast, Robinson clarified that an understanding has been in place since January, leaving no room for an about-face for either Alexander-Arnold or Liverpool.

Romano maintains that there have been no changes in the player's status and voiced that notwithstanding any recent euphoric instances suggesting the contrary, Alexander-Arnold is poised to pen an agreement with Madrid as the summer approaches.
