Liverpool came out 1-0 victors against PSG in one of the biggest smash-and-grab wins for the Reds this season.
Harvey Elliott was the hero for the visiting side on the night as Liverpool somehow came away from the French capital with a 1-0 lead in their two-legged series against PSG despite the Ligue 1 giants dominating the contest.
With Alisson Becker saying his performance tonight was the best of his career, Liverpool fans will be quick to laud the Brazilian goalkeeper for his incredible display, which also left Rio Ferdinand and Steve McManaman speechless.
Yet for Ally McCoist, one moment from Darwin Nunez caught the pundit’s eye in Liverpool’s win against PSG.

Speaking on TNT Sports coverage of the match, the Scotland legend praised Nunez for passing to Elliott for the midfielder’s goal rather than trying to have a shot himself, with the striker in a good position to try his luck.
With Nunez’s LIverpool future once again in the spotlight, the Uruguay international needed a big performance tonight against PSG, with the striker’s form in recent weeks failing to catch the eye of supporters.
Yet Nunez’s assist for Elliott was exactly what the attacker needed, and McCoist was impressed with the forward’s decision making in the moment to pass to his Liverpool teammate rather than to go for glory himself.

McCoist said: “Unbelievable football from Darwin Nunez, because nine times out of ten he hits this.
Watch Nunez, usually he pulls the trigger there, it looks a simple pass and it is but it’s there to hit first time, that’s the secret of it.”

Having come on with 20 minutes to play, Nunez knew that he would need to make a big impact if he was to build his case on why he deserves to stay at Liverpool for next season and to remain a part of Arne Slot’s plans.
And the striker managed just that against PSG, with Nunez’s unselfish pass to Elliott setting Liverpool on their way to a famous win in Paris and putting the Reds one step closer to a last-eight appearance in the UEFA Champions League.
Whilst there’s still a lot for Nunez to do, the attacker’s assist will bank him a lot of credit in the bank, and the former Benfica man will want to build from his impressive cameo in France in upcoming games for the Reds.
