Liverpool are on the hunt for a new left-back this summer after seeing a decline in Andy Robertson’s previously relentless level.
Robertson was always likely to drop off at some stage having been a near ever-present in the Reds line-up since the start of 2018.
And with the 30-year-old showing signs of a dip in 2024/25, Arne Slot is set to bring in some new blood.
As Rousing The Kop revealed on Friday, Antonee Robinson is near the top of Liverpool’s shortlist, with the American having an excellent season with Fulham.
Another to have been strongly linked with Liverpool has been Bournemouth defender Milos Kerkez.
And after Slot highlighted Kerkez following the Reds’ visit to Bournemouth in February, journalist Fabrizio Romano has provided some more context into a potential summer transfer.

Romano has previously reported that Liverpool want Kerkez, with the 21-year-old clearly one of those being considered at Anfield.
And taking to his YouTube channel to provide an update on Monday morning, Romano drew a link between Kerkez’s new agent and Liverpool.

“After Milos Kerkez changed agency in January, going with Fali Ramadani, with LIAN Spots, a very important agency, the situation is very clear: he’s looking for a top club for the summer transfer window,” says the reporter.
“In the summer he’s expected to be one of the players on the way out.
There are many clubs interested in Milos Kerkez.”

“Man United signed Patrick Dorgu, so that position is not expected to be covered again,” Romano added.
For sure he will be one to watch in the transfer window.”
“Fali Ramadani is a very connected agent, he was the agent who brought Federico Chiesa to Liverpool.
“But Kerkez will certainly be one to watch in the summer transfer window.”
Given the presence of Hungary national team colleague Dominik Szoboszlai at Liverpool, it seems fairly impossible that Kerkez would say no to the Reds if they come calling this summer.

Bournemouth may be rather less accommodating to an approach, however.
There have already been suggestions that the Cherries could demand around £50m to sell Kerkez and that is a not inconsiderable amount to spend on a left-back.
As a result, while Liverpool are obviously right to explore a deal for a talented young full-back like Kerkez, we still think the Reds may be better off going for a more affordable option.
Given he has one year left on his contract, Rayan Ait Nouri would be a cheaper – and still quality – addition, while Jorrel Hato is another reported target worth considering.
