Liverpool ended their hoodoo at the Etihad Stadium by romping to a 2-0 win over Manchester City on Sunday.
The Reds knew they could move 11 points clear at the top of the Premier League after seeing West Ham beat Arsenal on Saturday.
In order to do that, however, Liverpool would have to win at the Etihad for the first time since 2015.
In the end, it was all rather straightforward for the Reds.
Having put themselves 2-0 up during the first-half, they put their backs to the wall and saw the job through.
The win means things are looking incredibly rosy for Liverpool in the Premier League table.
And as they sat back and soaked in an 11-point lead, the travelling Liverpool fans could be heard clearly chanting something at the home of the champions.
