Virgil van Dijk claims Jarell Quansah has already proved he can replace the injured Trent Alexander-Arnold in Sunday’s Carabao Cup Final against Newcastle.
The Reds are already missing Conor Bradley with a muscle injury and van Dijk has no doubts Quansah will step up for Wembley.

Speaking after PSG on Tuesday, van Dijk said: “Everyone who’s on the bench or not starting has to try and make an impact.

Konate should be fit to partner Van Dijk in the heart of the Reds’ defence with Quansah at right-back and Andy Robertson, who impressed against PSG, at left-back.
