Virgil van Dijk’s Liverpool future continues to be the subject of speculation.
The defender is out of contract at the end of the season and said in March he had 'no idea' if he would remain at Anfield.
The Dutchman is one of three stars who is out of contract at the end of the season, with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Mohamed Salah yet to sign extensions despite several months of negotiations.
The England international has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid.

However, when it comes to Van Dijk, significant progress appears to have been made, with the centre-back admitting following the 3-2 defeat to Fulham at the weekend that there has been 'progress' in negotiations over a new contract.
And below is a round-up of everything that has been said about the situation in recent days.
Speaking following Sunday’s defeat in the capital, the Dutchman revealed: “There is progress, yes.” When pressed on whether that meant he would sign an extension, Van Dijk replied: “I don’t know, we’ll see.”
Before he added: “Listen, these are internal discussions, and we’ll see.
We wanted to reward them but I ask them to be there again on Sunday [against West Ham] and make the stadium an amazing venue like always for us.”
During an interview with NBC Sports on Monday, David Orstein of The Athletic claimed that it was now a matter of 'when' rather than 'if' Van Dijk will sign a new deal with the Reds.
He said: “It’s been my understanding throughout that Liverpool are confident [and] optimistic of renewing Van Dijk and now it’s a case of ‘when’ rather than ‘if’ he’ll put pen to paper, barring any last minute hitches.
“The talks, the negotiations have been positive and cordial – it’s the same situation with Mohamed Salah, Liverpool have been confident throughout that they will retain his services.
“And like I said with Van Dijk, it’s more a case of ‘when’ rather than ‘if’ that is going to happen now, and that will be really good news for them."
Reacting to Van Dijk’s update on Sunday, former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher said he was always confident that a new deal for the Dutchman would get over the line.
"I think they will get that one over the line,” he told Sky Sports News.
“That's the one I've almost been most confident about.

"I've been least confident about Trent Alexander-Arnold with Mo Salah, who is almost in the middle of both of those players.
"Virgil van Dijk speaks a lot because he's the captain and certainly when things aren't going well, he's almost the face of the club player-wise to come out and speak, as the captain should be.
"He's always handled those situations really well, and the fact that he's said there's been a bit of progress makes me really optimistic that that signing will get done."
