Virgil van Dijk might have dropped a contract hint with his goal celebration against West Ham, as he made a point of kissing the Liverpool crest on his jersey in front of the Kop.
The Reds required an 89th-minute header from Van Dijk to secure all three points at Anfield, after Luis Diaz's first-half opener had been cancelled out by an Andy Robertson own-goal.
Robertson's own-goal came in the 86th minute and sprung Liverpool into life after a poor second-half showing, and Van Dijk ensured the sloppy performance did not result in dropped points, heading the ball into the back of the West Ham net from a later corner.
Van Dijk was chased by his teammates as he ran into the corner of the pitch between the Anfield Main Stand and the Kop to celebrate the goal.
