Virgil van Dijk has admitted that Liverpool were sloppy during Sunday afternoon's 2-1 win over Wolves.

Victory will move them 10 points clear of the Gunners, before Mikel Arteta's team play next on Saturday afternoon against West Ham.

Winning at Villa Park will require a marked improvement from the Reds, though, judging by Sunday's performance.



Van Dijk has admitted that his team were tested against a resolute Wolves side.

"We'd love to dominate for the full 90 minutes, but it is the Premier League and Wolves can punish you and create dangerous moments against you," the Dutchman told BBC Sport.
