Virgil van Dijk insists Liverpool can’t stay angry after they let slip two points in a dramatic final Merseyside Derby at Goodison Park.
The Reds captain wants the Reds to turn their focus to Wolves after they were denied the chance to go nine points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
Van Dijk wants the Reds to move on rather than dwell on the draw and drama as they are still in full control of the title race.
"I think conceding a goal in the last seconds of a game, or even after added time of a game, is very difficult,” he said.
That hurt and should hurt for each one of us but it is the reality.
“You have two things you can do: you can dwell on it and stay angry about it or you can take it on board, start the recovery and be ready for Wolves because that will be a difficult test again and I think that's the best thing to do.”

Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk and players speak to referee Michael Oliver after Everton's late equaliser.
Van Dijk added: “I think it is better to just get over it as soon as possible and be ready for Sunday and put full focus on what we are facing next.
“Today is obviously very difficult to just put it aside because it is still so fresh and you are still thinking about it a lot and what you could have done better and differently but from tomorrow we have to move on.”
Van Dijk was angry at how much added time was played after referee Oliver added more time on to the original five minutes because of an injury stoppage and Tarkowski scored in the eighth minute.
While he also felt defensive partner Ibrahima Konate was fouled by Beto before the Blues centre-back lashed in the equaliser.
He added: "I think it was already over time, that was my view, and in my opinion it was a foul on Ibou."
