Cody Gakpo is raring to go after a recent spell on the sidelines through injury.
The forward has been a star performer for Liverpool this season, scoring 16 goals after being unleashed in his favoured left-wing position by new head coach Arne Slot.
The Netherlands international has gone from strength to strength under his compatriot since scoring a brace away at Brighton & Hove Albion in the League Cup at the end of October.
Such strikes kick-started a run which saw the 25-year-old score 14 goals from just 22 appearances.
However, such a run came to an end when he was forced off in the Reds’ 2-2 draw at Everton earlier this month.

Gakpo would go on to sit out Liverpool’s narrow 2-1 victory at home to Wolves and 2-2 draw at Aston Villa before making his return off the bench in Sunday’s 2-0 win at Manchester City.
But having worked hard to come back as quickly as possible, with the Reds continuing their Premier League title charge in his absence, the forward is hopeful he won’t miss anymore games this season.
“I had an injury.
“But yeah, we did everything, the medical staff and myself obviously, to come back as quickly as possible.
“Very happy that I can be back and hopefully now I don't miss any games anymore.”
Goals from Mohamed Salah and Dominik Szoboszlai were enough for Liverpool to clinch their first league win away at Man City for 10 years and go 11 points clear at the top of the table.
But the Reds are taking nothing for granted, having surrendered a lead at the top of the table last season.
With 11 league games still to go, Gakpo revealed that Virgil van Dijk addressed the Liverpool squad in the dressing room at the Etihad Stadium to ensure they do not get carried away.
“I think when you come in straight after you are happy,” he told the club website.
“After the game obviously the manager speaks all the time, but the captain did as well to just keep us calm and keep us focused at the games ahead because the season is not finished with this win.
“We still have 11 more games to go.
Obviously some games are going to be very tough for us, but also in those games we know that we can fight for each other and also bring those games to a good end.
