Virgil van Dijk's Liverpool future is still up in the air(Image: Getty Images)
Rio Ferdinand reckons Virgil van Dijk would be tempted by a move to PSG if the French giants made him an offer.
The Liverpool skipper is out of contract in the summer, and a departure looks increasingly likely with negotiations over a new deal seemingly at a standstill.
After the Reds' crushing penalty shootout defeat to PSG in the Champions League on Tuesday night, Van Dijk was spotted talking to the Ligue 1 club's sporting director Luis Campos and their chairman Nasser Al-Khelafi in the tunnel.
This, coupled with Van Dijk's insistence that he has "no idea" where he stands in terms of his Liverpool future, have prompted speculation that an end-of-season switch to the Parc des Princes could be on the cards.

However, according to French publication RMC, the Dutchman's conversation with Campos and Al-Khelafi was little more than "an impromptu chat", and his transfer availability was not discussed.
That said, Manchester United legend Ferdinand believes that if PSG offered Van Dijk a contract, he'd seriously consider it.
"Before those quotes I'd have said that Liverpool are going to [re-]sign him and keep him there," the ex-England defender, 46, said on Rio Ferdinand Presents.
I don't know man, I think it's 50-50 whether he's going to stay or not."
When asked about his contract situation in midweek, Van Dijk insisted he didn't know what the future held for him, and anyone who claims otherwise is "lying to your face".
The 33-year-old said: "I've no idea [if I will stay]."
