Virgil van Dijk believes Liverpool thoroughly deserve the Premier League title after finally being confirmed as champions.

The Reds were crowned as league winners on Sunday as they thumped Tottenham 5-1 at Anfield.

It was the culmination of a brilliant campaign for the Reds, who have been by far and away the best side in the division throughout the season.

"I was desperate to win it for them [the fans] and all the fans around the world, and for us as well," Van Dijk said.
