Pep Guardiola admits Manchester City are "far away" from Liverpool at present as he inferred Arne Slot's side will now go on to win the Premier League.
The Reds moved 11 points clear at the summit ahead of second-placed Arsenal - albeit having played a game more - with an impressive 2-0 win at City on Sunday afternoon.
Slot's side are now a mammoth 20 points ahead of the outgoing champions having earned their first league win at the Etihad in almost a decade.
And while Guardiola praised the performance on his injury-hit team, he accepted Liverpool are now the dominant force in the top flight.
