Jurgen Klopp has revealed that he never seriously considered taking over at Manchester United because he had unfinished business with Borussia Dortmund.
Moyes was handpicked by Ferguson to take over after his 26-year tenure, yet the iconic boss had also expressed interest in Jurgen Klopp.

"I didn't hear about a real offer.
"We spoke," Klopp said of their conversation.
"We spoke not a lot, but, for me, it was a lot.

Despite not being swayed by Sir Alex Ferguson's interest, Klopp expressed immense respect for the legendary manager: "It's a big honour to talk to Sir Alex.

United still harboured hopes of enticing Klopp to Manchester, but the more he pondered it, the more he yearned to conclude his time at Dortmund on a high note.
