Liverpool have been making some beautiful music on the pitch under Arne Slot this season.

The Reds have been one of the most exciting teams in Europe, with the Kop’s chant of ‘poetry in motion’ seeming especially fitting.

When Liverpool are at their free-flowing best, few players are as fun to watch as Luis Diaz.

He may not always score the most goals or provide the most decisive moments, but Diaz plays football like he’s still out on the streets of Colombia.

And when Lucho scores, we often see him bring out some of his fabled dance moves with the rest of his teammates.

The music clearly lives within him.

As a result, it should not come as too much of a surprise to Liverpool fans to hear that their No.7 is thinking about pursuing a career in music once he hangs up his boots.

When Liverpool supporters think of Luis Diaz, the first thing that comes to mind his likely his song, which has really taken off amongst the fanbase.

“People in Liverpool have made me feel one of their own,” Diaz says in an interview with Sports Illustrated.

Back in June, Diaz featured alongside some of his Colombia teammates in rapper Ryan Castro’s ‘EL Ritmo Que Nos Une.’

And speaking about that experience with Sports Illustrated, the winger admits he has thought about going into the music industry in the future.

“They asked us if we wanted to participate or collaborate,” recalls Diaz.

The song also performed really well and we had a good tournament as well.”

“I don’t know, that’s a good question,” smiled Diaz when asked about making his own music.

I do like music a lot.”

Although Liverpool fans would surely enjoy seeing Diaz have a career in music, the more pertinent question is over where his immediate future lies.

Diaz has been heavily linked with Barcelona, and with two years left on his deal this summer, it’s set to be a big transfer window for him.

Having improved his output this term, it would be a shame to see Diaz depart Anfield and head elsewhere.

But, at the end of the day, a new deal would take the £50m man comfortably into his thirties.

There is certainly a decision to be made.

Whatever he does after his career, Diaz has ensured that he will always be a Red.
