West Ham are reportedly interested in signing one Liverpool midfielder this January.
The Hammers are looking to bolster their midfield options this window and have identified one of Arne Slot’s players as a possible candidate.
Midfield has been an area of strength for Liverpool this season, with Ryan Gravenberch, Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, Curtis Jones, Wataru Endo and Harvey Elliott all fighting for the three positions in the Reds midfielder.
Meanwhile, West Ham are keen to strengthen in that department as they attempt to finish the season strongly after a poor start to the season that led to the dismissal of former boss Julen Loptegui.
Former Chelsea and Brighton boss Graham Potter is the man tasked with restoring West Ham’s honour and he sees a Liverpool midfielder as a likely candidate for his rebuild.
West Ham want Tyler Morton
According to reports, West Ham are considering a move for Liverpool midfielder Tyler Morton.
The 22-year-old, who is a product of Liverpool’s academy, has indicated his readiness to seek opportunities elsewhere.
“This month is a big month for me,” he said a few weeks back.
“It’s decision time, and I feel ready to kick on and be a proper professional if that’s here or someone else.
“I need to be a bit selfish and go with however I feel.”
It appears he could get his wish for more game-time at the London club, with Thewesthamway.com exclusively revealing that Graham Potter’s side wants to sign him.
TalkSPORT also confirmed the report of a possible move to West Ham for Morton, adding that “No contact has been made yet between the two clubs,” over a possible deal.
