It remains uncertain what is holding up a deal between Liverpool and Salah as it is clear that the Egyptian superstar would like to remain at the Premier League leaders next season.
Salah is the highest-paid player at Liverpool with the winger earning around £350,000 a week on Merseyside and being 32, the Reds are unlikely to offer him more than that for the upcoming years.
Al-Hilal are one club interested in Salah and if the Egyptian star decides to move to the Middle East this summer, the Liverpool forward would likely be earning around double, if not triple, his current salary.

Speaking about Salah’s situation on talkSPORT, Agbonlahor has stated that he has heard rumours that the Liverpool star is leaving Anfield, with the former Aston Villa forward seemingly putting it down to money.
It seems that the decision over the Liverpool forward’s future is motivated by legacy as Salah is closing in on several records this season, and the Egypt international will undoubtedly break more over the years to come should he sign a new deal at Anfield.
It remains unclear what is holding up a new contract between Liverpool and Salah, which is similar to Van Dijk, but it is fair to say everyone at the Merseyside club hope to see the duo at Anfield next season as the Reds will need the pair to help defend their potential Premier League title.
