Liverpool are reportedly set to embark on a succession plan at left-back as they prepare to find a long-term replacement for Andy Robertson.
The Scotland international turns 31 next month, and although he has been a phenomenal servant for the Reds over the years, Arne Slot's side are reportedly expected to look at bringing in someone that can replace him in the not-so-distant future.
Kostas Tsimikas has been a viable replacement when called upon, but he is not considered as a long-term solution and the Reds are expected to look elsewhere.
The Times reported earlier this week that Liverpool have been studying options such as Bournemouth's Milos Kerkez and Ajax's Jorrel Hato.
Kerkez, 21, has been excellent for the Cherries in the Premier League this campaign and his form has attracted interest from the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United.
The Hungarian is expected to be available for around £50million this summer - a fee that could tempt the Reds to make a move.

Hato is the other left-back that has been mentioned.
He has already made over 100 senior appearances in his career and it's no surprise that he has gained interest from across Europe.
Liverpool could decide to pursue a move for Hato, but the teenager has already made one trip to Anfield this season - and it didn't come while he was playing.
Hato was spotted on Merseyside for the Reds' game against Ipswich Town on Saturday, January 25, ramping up transfer rumours over a possible switch to the Reds.

However, Hato quickly provided an explanation about why he was watching Liverpool.
