The Jurgen Klopp era was a magical one at Liverpool.
After years in the darkness, picking up a title here and there, the German coach arrived on Merseyside in 2015 and lifted the Reds back to the top of the sport throughout his reign.
His work was so successful that Liverpool often found themselves in the race for quadruples, and more trophies could have come his way had he not been competing in the same era as Pep Guardiola’s Man City team, who are arguably the greatest in Premier League history.

Klopp spoke to the press for the first time as Liverpool boss on October 9 2015 and quotes from that day will forever live on after the success the legendary coach went on to achieve on Merseyside.
Words that will never be forgotten is the promise the German made to Liverpool fans that he would give them a title within four years of his arrival.
“It’s not so important what people think when you come in, it’s much more important what people think when you leave, so please give us the time to work it,” Klopp would say.
I know when I am sitting here in four years I think we’ll have won one title in this time – I’m pretty sure.”

Klopp would deliver Liverpool their first title under his leadership in 2019 and there was no trophy bigger that he could have brought back as the Reds won their sixth European Cup.
However, it would be the following year, when the legendary coach would deliver the one every Liverpool fan wanted.
Liverpool are on the verge of winning the Premier League under Arne Slot and a big part of that is down to the team Klopp left behind at Anfield.
Gary Lineker praised Klopp for this recently and the German coach will know how the current Liverpool boss is feeling having lifted the trophy himself in 2020.
Similar to the current campaign, Liverpool ran away with the Premier League title race during the 2019/20 season, finishing 18 points ahead of Man City on an impressive total of 99.
