Wataru Endo has been experiencing a difficult season at Liverpool.

The Japanese star was brought to Anfield ahead of the 2023/24 campaign and became a crucial member of the Reds’ squad last season as Jurgen Klopp was a fan of Endo’s attitude and performances.

Arne Slot has praised Endo on several occasions this season with the Dutch coach also pointing towards the midfielder’s mentality, while also complementing his attitude towards not playing much.

Endo’s recent performance against Newcastle received praise from Slot as the Japanese star came on for 13 minutes to help the Reds over the line.

Endo’s reaction was captured by The Redmen TV, who would respond by waving to the away end in the Parc des Princes with the Liverpool star appreciating the support of his fans.

Given the attitude he has shown, Liverpool will likely be happy to keep Endo around for another season as the Japanese star is a great fringe player to have available for selection.
