Liverpool are currently in Paris preparing for tonight’s Champions League tie against Paris Saint-Germain.

But while things have largely been plain sailing so far this season, there is an acknowledgement that things are about to get more difficult.

However, it appears that Mohamed Salah is ready for the challenge ahead, although he looks his usual calm and relaxed self.



Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the forward posted a picture of himself arriving at the club’s AXA Training Centre, him coming off the club’s flight to Paris and arriving at his side’s team hotel.

But while the Egypt international cut a calm and relaxed figure, uncertainty remains over his Liverpool future.

The forward’s contract expires at the end of the season, and he said in January that talks between his club and representatives were 'far away from any progress'.

He said: “It’s my last year in the club, so you want to do something special for the city, that is the thing in my head.

Pushed on if he believed this season would be his last at Anfield, Salah continued: “So far, yeah.

We are far away from any progress, so we just need to wait and see.”

The ECHO first reported back in September that Salah would like to sign a new contract with Liverpool.
