Liverpool returned to winning ways and moved a step nearer the Premier League title with a hard-earned but deserved victory against Everton on Wednesday evening.
Diogo Jota scored the only goal as the Reds secured a 1-0 win in the 246th Merseyside derby to clock up a century of triumphs in the fixture.
Arne Slot's side are once again 12 points clear at the top of the table and require another 13 points from their remaining eight games to claim a record-equalling 20th championship.

Trent delight
Trent Alexander-Arnold may not have been involved in the game as he recovers from an ankle injury.
But there was no way the Liverpool defender was going to miss out on the post-match celebrations.
Alexander-Arnold made a point of standing by the tunnel and congratulating almost every single Reds player as they left the field to a tumultuous reception from nearby supporters.
And a little earlier, he had made a beeline for Curtis Jones immediately after the final whistle to heartily embrace his temporary replacement at right-back and offer a few words of encouragement.
Unhappy Diaz
As ever, passions were running high during an at times feisty Merseyside derby.
And while matters didn't quite boil over as at Goodison seven weeks earlier, it occasionally went close.
Both Luis Diaz and in particular Jota were left perplexed by a series of decisions by referee Sam Barrott and his assistants, who in hindsight would perhaps agree it was collectively not their best performance.
And during the second half there was a moment in back play when Virgil van Dijk and pantomime villain James Tarkowski were involved in a little shoving match before the official intervened.
Steady on, chaps.
Pickford gotta Pickford
It wouldn't be a proper modern-day derby without either Jordan Pickford or Darwin Nunez leaving their mark.
So purists were left delighted when the pair combined to provide a flashpoint during the final quarter when Pickford, not for the first time in his Everton career, wiped out his Liverpool opponent with an unwise challenge.
With the whistle having already long been blown, Pickford escaped censure but still injured Nunez in the process, with the Uruguayan tumbling off the pitch in agony.
The striker was then rolled back into play by Alexis Mac Allister before then successfully imploring more volume from the nearby Kop.
